Time Travellers
Year 2 have been travelling back in time as part of their vehicle for learning. The have found our about how things were different in Victorian times and have begun to look at the events before the Great Fire of London. They visited Ifield Water Mill and discovered how it worked and what would have happened there in the past.
Albert: “The Ifield Mill would have had children working in it during the Victorian Era!”
Christian: “If more water goes through, the wheel turns quicker! They have to be careful that it does not go too fast, or it’ll break the wooden teeth on the wheel!”
