Explorers Day
Explorers in action! The Year 1 children explored their classroom surroundings as the Wild Things had visited and made quite the scene! They searched for clues that had been left around the school and worked out that Max was with the Wild Things! During the day, the children created colourful collage palm trees (like in the book), wrote letters to Max’s mum to let her know Max was ok and drew maps to help her get to the Wild Thing island. A game of follow the ‘Max’ was also played on the playground!
