Year 4 traded the classroom for the countryside this week during a fantastic trip to the South of England Show. The children enjoyed a fun-filled day of learning and discovery as they explored the vital role of farming and the local environment. A particular highlight was uncovering the secret life of bees, where pupils learned exactly how honey is made, alongside getting up close to a wide range of creatures, great and small.

Throughout the sprawling showground, the children enthusiastically explored interactive stalls and displays that brought their lessons to life. Packed with hands-on activities, excitement, and curiosity, the day was an overwhelming success. It was a brilliant, memorable experience enjoyed by every single pupil, leaving everyone with wonderful stories to share on the journey home.
