Our school was delighted to host the Loan a Lamb initiative, giving children a hands-on opportunity to learn about animal care, farming, and where food comes from. Throughout the week, every class visited our special guests—Mrs. Kakes the ewe and her twin lambs—and many pupils enjoyed helping to feed them. Back in the classroom, the children completed a wide range of learning linked to the sheep, from exploring animal adaptations to creative writing and arts and crafts inspired by the lambs. It was a wonderful experience that brought learning to life for all our pupils.
Thank you to the South of England Agricultural Society for proving this wonderful opportunity @southengshows.
