Oh we do like to be beside the seaside
Year Two packed their buckets and spades and headed down to the Beach. An action packed day full of paddling, sandcastles and ice cream – all whilst avoiding those pesky scoundrels (the seagulls).
This was a wonderful trip inspired by our core text: “The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch”, that resulted in outcomes in DT, English and Geography.
Our curriculum is designed to provide awe and wonder, explore our locality and boost our cultural capital all with a healthy dose of trust British “Grit” as we face the balmy English Seaside!
