Cross Curricular Locality – Let’s Explore!
At Waterfield we pride ourselves on our bespoke curriculum. A key feature is making use of our wonderful locality next to the beautiful Mill Pond.
Learning begins in Early Years where the children become familiar with sights, sounds and specific wildlife found around our school. As the children get older this progresses to understanding the significance of The Mill as part of the Industrial revolution and eventually how transport changed from local to global with our exploration of Gatwick.
